Hertz accepts payment for their car rentals in the form of major credit cards including American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. Hertz does not accept debit cards or prepaid cash cards as payment for their rental vehicles. Hertz Fuel Policy
All Hertz rental cars are rented with a full tank of gas and need to be returned with the same level of fuel, whether gasoline or diesel. Drivers who do not refill their rental prior to return will incur a local refueling fee. We recommend filling your fuel tank within 10 miles of dropping off your vehicle. This will ensure that you do not receive any additional fees.

Snow Tires/Chains
Winterization Fee: Rentals commencing Nov 01 - Mar 31 winter tires are included in rates. Snow chains can be requested between Oct 01 - Oct 31 for a fee of $15-$25 per day* VAT included, paid locally.
Snow Tires: On Average, $15-$25 USD per day*, VAT included, paid locally. Snow chains are not allowed on International One Ways.
