" Auto Europe provided excellent customer service. Knowing that their office is open 24/7 in the USA is reassuring when traveling abroad. Their prices are competitive and when finding a lower price online on their website, they quickly refunded the difference in the rate. We will definitely utilize Auto Europe again when traveling abroad. "

" Due to the pandemic we had to return our vehicle 4 weeks early and return to the United States. Despite asking for a refund for the remaining time on our rental, Hertz denied any type of refund. Given the situation and the willingness of other companies to offer refunds, we are very displeased in the customer service and it is unlikely we would rent again. "

" We are satisfied with our Auto Europe experience. "

" Europcar does not support drivers at the actual point of picking up the car. There's is little or no introduction to the workings of the car, which often times is different from any personal car. The Mercedes we rented had a warning light on indicating low tire pressure. It would have been nice if Europcar properly maintained the car prior to our getting he car. This past drop off experience was less than satisfactory. We dropped the car off at the Lisbon airport. Their primary drop off location was under construction with no personnel alerting customers. We drove around the rental car drop off 3 times looking for directions. I finally asked an Avis person for help because I could not find an Europcar person. Thank god we had enough time to make our flight. "

" As a long time customer with Auto Europe, this experience was reassuring; an excellent alternative to the original car offered (unacceptable) was provided by Avis- without any arguing or inappropriate nonsense by the very pleasant and efficient Avis employee.. "

" The car we were initially offered was dented and scratched and the driver's seat control did not work properly. The Avis employee at the actual pickup office was terrific, testing our the seat and examining the condition of the BMW 4 Series with the dents. He offered us an almost brand new Mercedes E-Class with a higher seat - and functioning seat control- for the same price we had paid. It was a fine car to tour around in for the 9 days. Thank you very much. "

" No problems. Everything went quite smoothly and efficiently. This program makes more sense for long-term rentals , although I don't understand why Portugal is the only country with a 90 day limitation on stays. "

I was able to contact them easily at the location and arrange for pick-up transporation to the pick-up site which was very close to the main terminal. " The car was beautiful but smelled of cigarettes so bad it was hard to ride with windows shut. Next, I am going to have to complain to American Express and Europcar, but we always do full no deductible coverage with you. At Guerin, there is a glass/tire fee that is 10 euros. At Europcar in October it was 16.95 euros total. It was suppose to be the same this time, but arriving jet lagged we really did not check what the man had us sign and he charged us 16.95 x 8. I feel he took advantage of our tired state as I specifically asked him why Guerin is only 10 euros total and they are more. "
