The quickest and easiest way to pay for your rental is by using a credit card, such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. All Avis locations require payment by credit card and will not accept cash in return for a rental car. If you do not have a credit card and would like to rent a car using a debit card, please contact Auto Europe to review your options when it comes to renting a vehicle with a debit card.

Avis Cancellation Policy

Unless noted otherwise, one of the main advantages to renting your Avis car from Auto Europe gives you more freedom when it comes to cancellations. As long as you cancel your rental 48 hrs prior to your pickup time you will receive a full refund, no questions asked. If you cancel less than 48 hrs you will still receive a refund, but will incur a small $75 USD fee. No shows however are responsible for the full amount of the rental. If you think you are going to be late, please be sure to contact Auto Europe's customer support specialists.

For instance, in Germany you must be 21 to rent a car, while in the UK you must be 23 to rent a car from Avis. For the most part, Avis provides customers with a full tank of gas, which necessitates customers to return the car with a full tank of gas, whether the car requires petrol or diesel. Customers who fail to return the car with the appropriate fuel level will be subjected to extra fees.
