" The rental car return was very confusing because there was no direction as to where to go. Multiple rent car people had to do as we did and back up on a one way street and then make an illegal u-turn to pull into the parking lot. A simple sign in multiple languages would have helped immensely. "

" Rental Experience with BUCHBINDER in Vienna, Austria for me was more than satisfactory. Rental company representative Mrs. Spanikova at the Vienna International Airport Desk in Terminal was not only very kind and professional but also very helpful. She did explain very clearly all additional fees on top of the Base rate. She gave us a good recommendation about Child Safety Seat for our 5 years old grandson and by her selected seat was working just write for his height and weight. She explained in details where and how to return car and provided a very helpful map of the rental car return parking lot location. All the additional charges on top of the Base Rate were in accordance with original car rental agreement and voucher. "

" AutoEurope is always my first choice when seeking to rent a vehicle in Europe. "

" This was the very first time in over 40 years of renting cars in over 42 different countries, that I have been accused of not filling the tank and being told that I lied. I filled the car up only 4km from the airport. I was charged 15 euros for refueling and 15 euros for 9 liters of diesel. The car would travel over 100km on that amount of fuel. I resent the accusation that I tried to cheat Enterprise out of 15 euros of diesel after having spent almost 1,000 euros over two different rental periods in less than 28 days. Our month-long, European vacation cost over 10,000 euros yet they believe that I tried to save 15 euros by lying about filling up the car! I am appalled at the accusations and the charges placed upon my credit card. "

" The person at the desk, Thomas, was awesome. Extremely helpful. We did not have the same experience when we called to report a chiming alarm that kept going off; it said ab reset. We were told that we would have roadside service for problems. The lady who answered the phone first told us it was probably a radio issue, based on her Google research, and we could bring the vehicle in to check. Not what we wanted to do with our limited sightseeing time. And our quick research suggested it was an antilock brake alarm issue, which we did not want to experience in an emergency while driving the autobahn for the first time. Not quite the helpful experience we expected. "

The relationship between the credit card company through the broker and then on through to the car rental company was murky in its description. "

Positive: 1- Pick up is a little more time consuming but drop off is very fast and the personal are helpful. 2- I delivered the car dirt on the outside but no problems were raised. 3- Pick up and deliver are easy to find in the airport To improve: 1- It's strange signing the paper agreeing that the vehicle is ok without seeing the vehicle. 2- We should have a gas pump in the airport and only them people should be asked to fill the tank, because as soon as I made the first 15Km, already the "full tank" drop 1 tick... 3- Upsetting is having the credit card pre-charged with extra 1.000€ (to much), when I use the internet with a virtual credit card exactly because I don't like to give the physical card to anyone "

" The selection and booking of the car was very smooth. And a 4 day rental (with fuel) was cheaper than having a cab pick me up and return me to the airport. The only inconsistency was the mention of the 'highway' decal for Austria which the customer still has to pay, but on pick-up that was included. The usual question about adding a CDW insurance was put, but my declining it did not raise any eyebrows. Great job! "

" The process was easy, simple, and the rate was competitive. The only disadvantage I had is in not being able to specify rental companies to avoid, such as Enterprise - see comments below. "

" I rented a family car and as it turns out it was a diesel car. I was not told about it, and when refueling at night I could not see the label. Moreover, as it turns out, in Europe they don't have a different size nozzles for fueling, and I ended up putting regular gasoline in the car causing an expensive damage no cover by the insurance. In addition, once I got stuck in the road, the process of getting the car hauled away and getting a replacement car was lengthy, not well communicated, and as it turns out also quite expensive. I am very disappointed with my experience with Enterprise, and I don't plan on renting more cars from them in the future. "

" I am a loyal AutoEurope client and will continue to be as I do think you offer excellent service and good value. My only comment and reason why I didn't mark totally Satisfied with this reservation is that I never know what my final charge will be at time of booking as there always seem to be extra airport taxes or misc taxes that are not clearly outlined at time of booking and are added on when picking up the car. In this particular case, I thought I had indicated I was traveling to Hungary and when I confirmed this wih the agent at time of picking up the car they said that was another 40 euro charge to drive out of Austria. I understand this, but just wish these charges were disclosed to us at time of booking with AutoEurope. "

" The company uses all paper copies. If you don't have a paper receipt from AutoEurope they can't process the reservation. The car I requested was not available. The car I got was larger and was in a bad shape. Given that it is winter in Europe and the use of windshield washers is constant, the ones in the car did not work under freezing temps. Also, the company did not provide a brush for snow. Finally, the onboard computer was showing a fault with the car. I rent from Sixt and I never had issues with their service or cars. I will stay away from this company for now. "
