" Overall our experience was great! We only had a slight delay on our pickup, as another large family arrived when we did and the first shuttle wasn't large enough to take us all. Our shuttle driver, who also did our check-in upon arrival was very courteous and did a great job explaining all of the features of the car. We appreciated how good his English was, as our Italian is very basic. The return process went smoothly. We were able to check out quickly and arrived at the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Overall, the rental experience, from the initial booking to the completion was excellent and we'd definitely rent/lease from Auto Europe and Citroen again! Thanks! "

" We really enjoyed our Citroen. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 and easily held our 2 large suitcases and all of our backpacks under the trunk privacy screen, which was great. We found that the other 2 cars we rented on our trip (a BMW X1 and a Toyota Hybrid SUV C-HR) had inferior safety features and lacked the trunk capacity of the Citroen. We would definitely rent this car again over the other 2 models. We felt safe and comfortable and got great gas mileage. "

" I really appreciate the comprehensive coverage from Auto Europe , For collision, theft and liability, because the lady at the Hertz counter in Italy had nothing else she could charge me for, since I was totally covered. So my cost at the Hertz counter in Italy, was $0.00 Zero dollars. I mean, I only paid Auto Europe $823 for 10 really fun days. What a deal! "

" My first experience with Europcar Italy was beyond expectations. In one word it was exceptional. From booking, to pickup, to drop off, the whole experience was flawless. Every Europcar Italy employee, starting from the counter to the pickup were extreme helpful and friendly. They never tried to up-sell me anything, rather gave me useful tips on how to drive safe and take care of myself and the car. They also never scared me about the insurance like other car rentals and were super honest about everything. My rental dropoff was after hours and at a different location, but that was not a problem either. They were clear about the minimal extra charge for this and the whole after hours drop off was seamless. The charges were clearly explained and there were no surprises. Cars are also in excellent condition. If you want to rent in Italy at a very reasonable price with included insurance, skip the bigger players and try Europcar instead. You would be fully satisfied! " Auto Europe has been my go-to company for auto rental in Europe for going on four decades. I recommend it to friends and acquaintances all the time. My experience using Auto Europe for a domestic one-way rental from Chicago to Mobile last fall unfortunately was less positive. By the time I paid the one-way drop-off charge, VAT, and concession fee to Thrifty (which Auto Europe subsequently informed me was not included in the rental, despite the voucher's appearing to state otherwise), my initial outlay had more than doubled. "
