Though New Zealand is not a signing member of the Vienna Convention, many of their road signs still fall under the same standards as outline in the treaty. As the country's drivers will keep left in traffic, in line with the United Kingdom and South Africa, many of the driving rules in New Zealand will follow these countries. Driving conditions in New Zealand are also slightly more dangerous due to environmental factors.
