" At first thought it was going to be a third party site with no support or credibility if anything went wrong but was completely wrong. From the first phone call to the final check out the whole process was clear and no hidden fees or agendas involved. Definitely a plus! They offer the best competitive pricing available and there are no hidden costs. Actually called to speak to a live person and they had a support person on the line after a brief wait. They reviewed my quote and were able to provide a better rate with a discount code applied. Saved me additional monies. Will definitely use them in the future. "

" Whole process was easy and smooth. Counter staff was friendly and glad they opened till 1am. Our flight was delayed and didnt land till 12:30am which we were worried we wouldnt be able to get our car. The staff member upgraded us to a "premium" model (mini cooper) from our Compact choice. Debatable if it was an upgrade but the car overall was new, drove great and had no issues the whole stay. Would book again! "

We had to wait 40 minutes before we were helped at which point they spent an additional 15 minutes trying to sell us a more expensive rental we didn't need. Car wasn't in stall indicated and when we did pick up the car in the parking lot there was a separate europcar station with four workers and no one being served. A bad start to our trip and the wait was totally unnecessary "

" Just a comment about Hertz car return...Barcelona Airport... disaster! Signing into airport for rental returns is non-existent. GPS does a poor job of directing you in. Hertz signing is almost non existent as well. Almost missed our flight. Someone should look at this through customer eyes. "

" I had good service and when I had a pre rental question about returningtime at airport being outside office hours. I was answered quite soon that there is a dropbox for car keys and documents. It would be easier if this information would be given automaticly when the required rental hours differ from the office hours. I nearly cancel ed my rental when I realized that. I had a bad experience on one of my first autoeurope rentals at the Rome airport. The rental was supposed to begin at 7pm and the flight was late and the office was closing already at 8pm Which didn't show in the woucher /agreement. We just made it but our friends arriwed on a later flight and didn't make it. They had to book a hotel at the airport and return the next mornin "

" I liked that I could call a toll free no 24/7. However, there were some variation in the advice I got regarding insurance, and the written material did not always match the oral advice (which is why I had to call back several times to get a written confirmation of the insurance terms we were offered). It seems pointless that we needed to pay a location fee of 40 Euros in a huge rental car location like the one in the airport (also considering that we dropped off the car at the same location). There could have been no additional inconvenience for Hertz or Auto Europe and for that reason, I may not recommend either of the two. "
