Egilsstadir Airport Facilities

The airport terminal was originally built in the early sixties, and recently underwent extensive renovations in the early nineties. The newest addition to the facility is a new arrivals hall that was finished in 2007. The terminal has two floors with check-in counters, baggage entry and customs all located on the first floor, and business lounges, dining area and a main waiting hall located on the second floor. Shops inside the facility offer a wide selection of international brands, as well as exclusive Icelandic products.
