The ASTA Verified Travel Certification is designed to elevate your expertise and credibility as a travel advisor by ensuring that you understand the role and responsibility of a travel advisor. To be eligible for the certification, you must meet the following criteria:

• Current Member of ASTA
• Completion of Core Courses: To obtain the Verified Travel Advisor Certification, you must complete and pass testing for all four (4) core courses:
  • Legal Insights: Protecting ASTA Member Agencies and Professionals
  • Ethical Excellence: Mastering the ASTA's Code of Ethics
  • Legal Compass: Navigating Agency
  • Regulatory Guidebook: Understanding Federal Compliance for Travel Agencies
• Advisors are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of uninterrupted experience in good standing (agency wide).
• Annual Sales Volume: You must have achieved an annual sales volume of $500,000 for at least one of the last five (5) years.

• Advisors are required to have at least five (5) years of experience in good standing (agency wide).
• Annual Sales Volume: You must have achieved an annual sales volume of $250,000 in those years.
