GPS Terms & Conditions
- Please read our current GPS promotions for current pricing, coverage and restrictions.
- Submitting the GPS request form does not confirm your GPS rental. Auto Europe will email you a final quote including any applicable rental charges and/or shipping charges. We will confirm your rental only with your final approval.
- You are requesting a GPS rental through Auto Europe and not our car rental supplier. Units rented through Auto Europe are hand-held units (mountable in your car rental), pre-loaded with European mapping software, and in English. The unit will be shipped to you prior to your departure from the U.S. and a roundtrip shipping label is provided and included in your shipping costs.
- A shipping and handling of fee of $40 USD will apply to any GPS rental, regardless of the cost of renting the unit itself. Any last minute request that we can fulfill may incur higher shipping and handling fees.
- GPS units will be delivered no more than 2 business days before your departure from the U.S. (please make sure to you use "departure" and "return" dates on the GPS request form, not the dates of your car rental. If delivery is required more than 2 business days before your departure, a special request must be made and additional fees may apply.
- Auto Europe requires 7 days advance notice for GPS rentals (prior to shipping date, not travel dates). GPS rentals requested within 7 days are highly on request and additional fees may apply.
- You are responsible for a deductible of up to $300 USD in the event of loss, theft, or damage of the unit itself or its accessories. An optional insurance can be purchased at $1 USD per day, reducing your liability from $300 USD to $100 USD.
- Included with the GPS rental is the hand-held unit (Garmin NUVI 270 / 275T or similar), a mounting "dock" for use in a vehicle, a vehicle adapter/charger, and a carrying case.
- Any GPS promotional rate is for the duration of your car rental (and including shipping 2 days prior to your departure, and 2 days for the return of the unit). If you wish to rent the GPS unit for longer than the duration of your car rental, a daily fee will apply.
- Once you have submitted the GPS request form, we have replied with your final quote, and you have agreed to make a reservation, we will email you a voucher for the GPS rental with terms and conditions specific to your rental.
