Auto Europe Upgrades Web Site21 Jun 2001 Auto Europe has further enhanced their web site, http://www.autoeurope.com, to meet the needs of the growing number of travel agents using the internet for online reservations and research. The latest enhancements include a personalized member account section that allows an agent to securely store their agency information including name, address, fax, telephone number, email address and IATA number so they do not need to repeatedly fill in their information with every reservation. After logging into the site, the agent can simply select their service, add their client's name and the form will automatically fill in the agency information. This feature is optional. In addition to the personalized member section, Auto Europe has also refined their destination and driving informational pages. Agents can research all facets of travel to Europe, including driving information, local ordinances, currency and suggested attractions. Auto Europe's improved car search produces printable high quality detailed photos of European vehicle makes and models including equipment information, seating, and luggage capacity. The new pop up calendar is easier to navigate and determine a client's departure and return dates. Agents can select products and locations that are of interest to their clients and customize the site with their logo. The agency's IATA number is embedded in all reservation requests that are generated from the sub site allowing for commissions to be protected.
