Entry Requirements
U.S. citizens do not require a visa to enter Malta for visits of less than three months. A certificate is required from the Director of Veterinary Service of Malta prior to the import of the animal. Pets are allowed to enter the country as long as they have valid vaccination and health certificates. Pets must be vaccinated at least 30 days but less than 6 months prior to the date of entry. Pets can be quarantined for a period of six months. Pit Bull Terriers are not allowed into Malta.
