After your time at the music festival, visit the Titanic Quarter. The Titanic quarter is a twenty minute drive from the city centre. This summer it will be the host to an extraordinary exhibit; Robots. Robots will occupy the Titanic quarter from the 26th of June to the 13th of September, providing an interesting day trip available through the whole summer. Authentic Experiences in Historic Belfast

Belfast experienced a lot of conflict in the past and it is rich in memorials for you to find. Take a drive around the historical city for a free thing to do in Belfast that'll give you an overview of its history. Belfast experienced a strong period of conflict called "the troubles". The troubles was a period of great difficulty for all local residents, culminating in a religious war between the Irish Republican Army and the British. Drive through both the east and west of Belfast to see the sectarian divide or visit the areas where members of the British Army and Irish Republican Army clashed. Although the troubles are over, the legacy still lives on.

The city of Belfast was the original home of the world-famous Titanic. With a variety of exhibitions located around the city in its honour, all just a short drive from the city centre. This summer Belfast will again be the home for huge ships, as Belfast is the starting point for the Tall Ships Race 2015. The Tall Ships Race is expected to attract 500,000 people to Belfast and a further 500,000 people will be viewing the race from different locations around the coast. The Giant's Causeway is the ideal location to view the race at just a two hour drive from Belfast along the beautiful coastline.

A natural wonder of the UK, the Giants Causeway was supposedly formed by an Irish giant. It consists of rare rock formations not found anywhere else in the world. With stunning scenery and an 18-hole golf course located adjacent to the causeway, it's the perfect relaxing getaway from the city.
