Through December 31st, 2012, you can delve into the glamorous, high speed world of James Bond at the Beaulieu Motor Museum in Hampshire, England. A collection of fifty Bond vehicles (the largest count in history) from fifty years of action packed Bond films are on display in a show called "Bond in Motion."

 

Alongside such classics as the Aston Martins, the remote controlled BMW from Tomorrow Never Dies and the space age Lotus, visitors have the chance to view the Fairey Huntress speedboat and infamous Goldfinger's 1937 Rolls-Royce. Motorcycles, sleds and even a tricycle are all there, accompanied by fascinating looks back at the films they were featured in.

 

Don't miss the record breaking Aston Martin DBS stunt car from Casino Royale that rolled a mind-boggling 17 times in the crash scene from the last part of the film. This and many of the other cars are paired with exclusive footage that details how their death-defying, high speed stunts were executed by talented drivers. Just 70 miles from the heart of London, this exhibit is the perfect day trip for Bond fans and auto enthusiasts alike.

 

Once you return to London, don't miss the other memorable pieces of Bond history which are on display until September 5, 2012 at the Barbican Center. At this "Designing 007-Fifty Years of Bond Style" show, you can get up close to Ursula Andress' iconic Dr. No bikini or Halle Berry's orange one from Die Another Day, as well as about 400 other costume and set pieces. Homage is paid to Bond "villains and enigmas," as well as prolific designers such as Prada and Versace, who have outfitted 007 in his suave signature look for fifty years.
