See the solar system from the Southern Hemisphere

One of the Stardome's main attractions is the Edith Winstone Blackwell Zeiss Telescope, which the public is more than welcome to use to take a peek at the stars. In addition to planets, those who look through the telescope's eye piece can see star clusters like the Jewel Box.

If travelers plan to take their car rental in New Zealand to the Stardome, they should know that a Zeiss viewing is only possible on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Space is also limited, so they will want to reserve a spot ahead of time.
