Kangaroos, orangutans and elephants are not indigenous to Germany, but travelers who have a
car rental in Munich can see these animals and more when they visit the Hellabrunn Zoo.
This attraction is spread out over 89 acres of land and provides visitors with a glimpse into life in the world’s various ecosystems, including the rainforest and the Australian Outback.
On a 90-minute guided tour of the zoo, animal lovers have a chance to learn about the park’s many inhabitants, and even interact with a few of them. At the Touch Paddock, individuals can purchase fiber grains from a vending machine and feed them to one of the zoo’s goats. Meanwhile, those who step inside the Jungle House and Aquarium get to see everything from chimpanzees and gorillas to reptiles and fish – all inside one facility.
Travelers who want to see the zoo’s residents show off their talents should take in one of the animal shows the attraction puts on throughout the week. For instance, individuals who have a
car rental in Germany can watch falcons and owls perform aerial acrobatics, or see California sea lions put on a noisy, but fun, performance.
