This July the greatest baseball players in the world will descend upon Southern California to take part in Major League Baseball's All-Star Game, giving fans the perfect excuse to get a car rental in Anaheim.

The Mid-Summer Classic will take place on July 13 and is sure to be a dazzling exhibition of each league's baseball prowess. The National League will look to end the American League's 13-year undefeated streak (the game was called a tie in 2002).

The senior circuit will need a strong showing from perennial powerhouse Albert Pujols and slugging second baseman Chase Utley if they want to dethrone the American League, which will most likely be led by the Yankees' Alex Rodriguez and Red Sox' Dustin Pedroia.

Roy Halladay will probably make his debut in a National League uniform after starring in the American League for his entire career.

There will be more to do for people with car rental in California than just watch the game. The week leading up to it is full of festivities, culminating in the Home Run Derby on July 12.
