The car suffered a flat tire. When I called hertz assistance I offered to use the flat repair kit in the trunk, they told me not to. Then they came and took the car and left me stranded for 24 hours. I was then forced to rent another vehicle from Hertz for those 24 hours at a much higher rate for a worse vehicle. I have never heard of paying for a rental car that is taken away from me for 24 hours due to a flat. Terrible

Originally, I booked a car online and later found out (from one of your phone agents) that the rental office would actually be closed when I had planned to pick the car up. That concerned me a bit - so in the future, I will most likely double check with a live agent.
