It was nice to get a complementary upgrade and that is very appreciated. However, it turned out that both headlights were not working. I realized this in the evening of January 23 when I needed to drive from Bormio to Milan. I was lucky to find a mechanic who was able to replace the light bulbs. . I find it unlikely that both headlights were functioning when I took over the car. The mechanic also noted that the lights were not installed correctly, and in addition that whoever put the previous bulbs in forgot to put in rubber covers which were still laying next to the lights inside the engine compartment. Clearly there were some maintenance issues, and one wonders whether there are other issues relevant to the safety of the cars.

I booked a pEugeot 308 and ended up with an Opel Zafia, which was clearly not in a good condition. The state of the tyros was hopeless. We were with two other families who booked lower class and cheaper cars. We booked the cars to travel to the mountains and our Opel struggled to go up certain roads which had a small amount of snow, whereas our friends had no problems at all. The types were in a very bad shape.

Your agents at Malpensa tried to defraud me into buying insurance that I already had on the car. When I pointed that our on my paperwork they blamed the computer. Just a shrug...no apology. Just had to try to cheat me but, hey they goet cought once in a while. Two other matters: I did not get the cardI ordered and they were not customer friendly. How's this for welcome to Milan: I said ""twice but could not get anyone of them to look at me - they just kept up talking w/all the other reps. I was first in line as they opened so saying hello seemed appropriate except I guess, for these pretentious characters. Can't imagine this happening in the U.S. I never had it happen before anywhere!

I had to call 3 times to be picked up from terminal after 55 minutes picked up to a sleazy location . whe I aske to use bathroom they told me to use the yard. To get the car another 45 min when I got the car I been told no insurance for the wheels and glass and more …. Fuel tank was not full and car was dirty from the inside and very unpleasant smell and more….. this is a company I will recommend to no body shame the Auto Europe work wit you
