The Hertz desk tried hard to sell me their insurance even though I told them I am covered. On return though the woman at the return area watched my luggage while I ran into the airport to get get a luggage cart.

Maggiore does a great job. Especially out of this location. Rome is a bit difficult because the cars are about three long blocks away from the rental desk.

Pick up area was hard to find. No lights outside the building. Didn't know I had to look for Maggior sign, instead of Auto Europe.

Picking up in Catania was very quick but in FCO it was a different story. Would have been nice if they would have had someone staffing the office at FCO when we dropped off the car. Office hours posted on door indicated that they were open but everything was locked up.

The car provided did not at all fullfil my expectation. I have rented a Lancia Delta. But instead I received a very used Ford C-max with broken interior and schratches on all sides of the car. The air condition had to run for 15 minuttes before it were able to cool the car. the general opion was the car was a wreck. I asked for another car. But of course nothing else was offered to me.

The car i reserved was not at the airport when i arrived. I had to wait for an hour before it was ven brought to the airport for my puckup. I received a bill for around $90 on m credit card the month after my rental. I assume it was for gas, although I returnd the car with nearly a full tank
