  • First extremely bad experience in renting cars from AutoEurope in many years.
  • About the service from the local car rental company - MAGGIORE
  • Agent was unfriendly and refused to help us, until an agent from Hertz helped us re-print the voucher [INVALID]- we had the voucher with us, but she said it was unacceptable and we ended up paying an extra 30 euros just to get the form she wanted. Hertz was able to get into the online site and get us what we needed to go back to Maggiore to finally get it. There was no one at the pickup site, and the car we picked up had damage to it.

  • Thought they were fairly efficient but the return instructions were not made clear to me at the airport nor were they clear in the brochure and the car rental return signs at Bergamo airport were almost impossible to see and I missed them first time around.

  • There is an autoeurpe office in Bergamo airport. However when I tried to ask them something about my voucher thay told me that they have no relationship/connection with "autoeurope US". You can guess how surprised I was.

  • Hertz staff was very helpful and kind. On the other hand, albeit they upgraded our car, there were big and deep scratches on every part of it. Its bumper was loose on one side. So we felt anxious during the whole trip until we returned the car. They should not rent such cars before they had them fixed.

  • put real working time of the office in the internet, as haven't found that BGY office works 24 Hours and have some difficulties to organise trip to take a car.
