The car drove "funny" on the Autobahn. Gas tank was not full on pick-up. The brakes made grinding noises. Would have preferred a sticker that said it is a diesel or gas car on the gas tank. Sounded like a diesel. Staff was very efficient and friendly and helpful at pick-up.

We needed to add an extra day to the rental. Went by the Airport on 10/05/2012 and made arrangements to pick the car up on Wed. 10/10 between noon and 4:00 p.m. When we got there to pick up the car, we were told non would be available until 3:00 pm. This meant we had to sit around the Airport for 3 hours waiting on the car. Luckily when we re-checked at 2:00 p.m one had become available. It was frustrating, since we had specifically stopped by the counter 6 days in advance.

I would have liked to have been informed that I needed to go to an Avis counter before I left for my trip. I thought I had insurance with my rental when I purchased it online. I was told I did not so purchased extra at the counter. The lady at th counter in Stuttgart was pleasant and very efficient.
