Celebrate 17th century folklore through a series of lighthearted activities enjoyable for the whole family! This cultural event is comprised of citywide parades, children’s playgrounds, dance workshops, and a plethora of street entertainers; not to mention plenty of color and creative apparel! As the historic legend goes, native townspeople dressed head to toe in animalistic costumes, in order to ward off the evil Turkish Empire; now, locals enthusiastically encourage all attendees to dress up!

Symphony orchestras, chamber music, jazz bands, and even film premiers make up the list of events.
