National Horse Fair This huge horse fair is the largest event of its kind in Portugal. The event features equestrians and fans from around Europe to watch the competitions and take part in the many games, food events, and parades.
Lisbon International Marathon Athletes from Portugal, Europe, and beyond head to Lisbon each year to test their endurance and speed during this international marathon. The event will go into its 24th year in 2008 and will draw thousands of participants from various skill levels who will make their way around some of the city's most noted landmarks. |
