Dublin City Soul Festival Picturesque Dublin hosts one of the regions greatest celebrations during May, when a citywide festival that incorporates all things soul with four musical days of activities. This event hosts numerous deep rooted southern traditions, such as soul-inspired comedy acts, funky DJs mixing the greatest Blues hits, and a vast array of Soul Food restaurants with delicious fried delicacies. The festival wraps up on Sunday with a slew of world renowned musical performances, and a relaxing picnic lunch, set in the beautiful Merrion Square Park. Street Performance World Championships This competition takes place in Dublin every year, and is a real pleasure to watch! The contestants are real life street performers who juggle, sing, dance, act and everything else you could imagine, in order to make their living.
