CPH:PIX The largest film event in Denmark, this event continues to draw more and more each year. Many filmmakers from all over the world screen their movies here, as well as other screenings held in Aalborg, Odense and Arhus.
Aalborg Carnival The Aalborg Carnival is a massive party that has been taking place annually for over 20 years. There are international bands competing for the top spot on the main stage all week long, and it all ends with a huge parade that spectators are invited to be a part of. Over 20,000 people participate in the grand parade, making it one of the biggest in the world!
Esbjerg Rock Festival Fans of 80's music will not want miss this year's Esbjerg Rock Festival. Don't forget your sideways ponytail, neon colors, and classic dance moves!
Kite Fliers Meeting Nine miles of beach are set aside for the annual Kite Fliers Meeting in Fano. Each year, thousands turn out to fly their creative homemade and intricate store bought kites. It is truly a sight to see, and one you won't want to miss if in Denmark this summer! |
