International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music This festival is a celebration of the Czech Republic's most famed composer, Petr Eben. Amateur male, female, and children's choirs play in front of a jury for competitions such as best performance, best conductor, and the Petr Eben Prize.
Saint Nicholas' Eve Near the Charles Bridge, you will see Santa roaming the streets and checking his list to dispense treats to good children and coal to the misbehavers. Santa is assisted on St. Nicholas' Eve by an angel and a devil to dole out treats and coal. |
