Barcelona Cooking

Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona Cooking - Market

Barcelona Cooking - Paella

Seafood Paella made at Barcelona Cooking

Barcelona Cooking offers cooking classes in which the clients are the chefs. Classes usually start by heading as a group to the Boqueria market which is a few minutes away from the school. This is Barcelona’s largest food market and is a sight to behold. The group encounters the very best fresh fruit, meat and seafood. Students help us purchase the ingredients required for the class and learn all the inside secrets whilst making their way past the different stalls. Back in the school, the class will either be based around Spanish Cooking in which paella is the main star or around tapas, the art of little dishes. Throughout the class premium private-label wines are served. At the end, everyone sits down to enjoy the meal just prepared. Everyone will receive copies of the recipes via email in order to recreate these at home.

We think this experience is an attractive one and it gives travelers the chance to get ‘hands on’ with Spanish culture. It is also quite an achievement and a rewarding process to cook an authentic and delicious Spanish meal with the best local produce. It is also a great way to meet other travelers from all over the world and share the experience with other like-minded people.
